About Tamara
Hi, I'm Tamara!
I am a Software Engineer with a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction and several years of professional experience working in software development. Alongside my industry experience, I have taught university courses in Logic, Discrete Structures, Human Computer Interaction, and Java Programming at the University of Stuttgart, and have also volunteered as a math tutor for high school students.
I know that subjects like math and programming can sometimes feel intimidating or frustrating. My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through problems at their own pace.
As both an engineer and a former tutor, I enjoy helping people understand concepts that once seemed difficult and seeing their confidence grow over time. Whether you are preparing for exams, struggling with a particular topic, or simply looking to improve your skills, I am happy to adapt lessons to your individual goals and learning style.
Outside of work, I enjoy skateboarding and creative projects that sometimes also combine technology and design.

I am a Software Engineer with a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction and teaching experience at both high school and university level. I taught Logic, Discrete Structures, Human Computer Interaction, and Java Programming at the University of Stuttgart and have also volunteered as a maths tutor for high school students aged 12–18.
My approach to tutoring focuses on understanding rather than memorisation. I adapt my teaching style to each student's needs and learning pace, breaking down complex concepts into smaller, manageable steps and using practical examples to make them easier to understand.
To make lessons as effective as possible, I encourage students to send me their topics, exercises, or assignments in advance so I can prepare and tailor the lesson to their specific needs.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed. I offer both online and in-person lessons.
My lessons are suitable for:
– High school students studying Maths
– University students studying Computer Science or Programming
– Beginners looking to learn programming fundamentals, Java, web development, or software engineering concepts
My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and building confidence in their skills.
