About Kaitlin
I think we can all agree that chemistry is not the easiest topic for many people to learn. However, there are many techniques that I have learned both at Harvard College and my high school dual enrollment program at the University of South Carolina that have allowed students to begin to understand chemistry from the bottom up. It is truly a joy teaching my favorite subject and watching people start to enjoy it too!

A typical lesson plan would start with a brief overview of topics that are currently being learned in class followed by a chance to ask questions. We will then delve into practice problems, as actually answering questions is the best way to see where problems may arise. I have used these methods to tutor general chemistry and organic chemistry college students for two years, and it has always significantly improved understanding of the material.
