About
I have taught at an elementary school while living in the Dominican Republic, there I taught 2nd graders-11th graders in various subjects. I also have experience teaching Spanish in a middle school club while working for Ft. Jackson Youth Center. My previous job was tutoring at a local college where I covered beginners-advanced levels of Spanish. My students have all gone on to complete their associates degrees, and my younger students were able to learn more about the Spanish language and culture.

I have my bachelor's degree in Spanish from USC-Columbia. I also spent some time abroad in the Dominican Republic after I finished my degree to get a hands on learning experience and was able to become fully bilingual. I have also completed certification training to be a Medical Interpreter and have experience as a contract Interpreter for Social Services. I am able to give lessons and tutor students at every level as I have experience teaching at an elementary level, middle, high school and tutoring at a college level. I like to use visual aid when teaching and break it down to the most basic level which I find makes it easier for everyone to understand.
