I design my lessons based on the needs of the student because everyone doesn't learn in the same way. I can adapt to different levels of language proficiency as I have taught all levels of Spanish and developed exams for beginners to graduate level in Spanish.
I have experience teaching PreK to university level students. I have helped students taking Spanish classes wyd all levels, facilitated conversation groups, helped students write essays, assisted literature students with understanding their reading assignments (from a literary analysis perspective), taught the history of the Spanish language and Hispanic culture.
I like to make tutoring fun so that the student does not feel like they are in a boring class. I like to integrate games, music, literature and TV into my teaching so that students can experience Spanish in a real world setting. I love to travel so I do integrate my experiences into my teaching because one cannot learn a language with understanding the culture.
