About the lesson

Objective: Students will learn and practice basic Spanish greetings and responses.

In this lesson, students will be introduced to common greetings such as "Hola" (Hello), "¿Cómo estás?" (How are you?), and "Adiós" (Goodbye). The teacher will start with a brief explanation of the importance of greetings in Spanish-speaking cultures. Students will then engage in a fun role-play activity in pairs, practicing these greetings with each other. To reinforce learning, they will create a simple greeting chart to display in the classroom. The lesson will conclude with a short review game where students will match greetings with their meanings, ensuring they grasp the vocabulary effectively.
