About Maria
I was born in Mexico and am a first generation immigrant with a Masters degree in education. Spanish is my first language so it comes naturally to me, thus making my lessons and teaching not only strong but also authentic. I teach formal Spanish.

Spanish is phonetic, therefore every letter makes a sound; with the exception of /h/ at the beginning of a word. Learning the sounds of the letters makes the learning process easier. I also walk each lesson from vocabulary to grammar usage for complete comprehension. I give suggestions on listening material for advancement.
