About Arielle
I am a fluent Spanish speaker with 8 years of experience! Growing up in many different countries such as Scotland, Hong Kong, Spain and Brazil has exposed me to so many languages and I want to share that experience in my tutoring. I have been in Australia for 3 years now and I’m studying languages at UQ as well as early childhood education at TAFE. I have returned from 6 months in Colombia and this marks my 8th year of studying Spanish! Looking forward to meeting you soon.

I like using a conversational approach in my languages lessons, as this is the way that I learned 5 of them. Immersion is key! So as our lessons go on, I will continue to incorporate Spanish words and phrases into the conversation depending on level of language.
A typical lesson may look like this:
1. General conversation- talking about what we have done today, what we look forward to (good practice of tenses!)
2. Grammar excercise
3. Additional help with uni/school work
4. Watching a Spanish video and discussing it- assigning a Netflix show in Spanish for my student to watch is always a fun way to connect!
