About Catalina
Hi! My name is Catalina Pérez. I am an ELE online Spanish teacher from Colombia living in Sausalito, California. I studied International Business at EAFIT University in Colombia and received an M.B.A from McKendree University in the U.S.A. I have worked in International Sales and Marketing for multinational companies. Currently, I have the opportunity to dedicate my time to other areas that I am passionate about. These include teaching Spanish, exploring creative Latin American Cuisine, traveling around the world, meeting people and learning about different cultures. I am also a health and wellness advocate. My path to teaching Spanish has led me to strongly believe in the possibility of good communication and empathy with different cultures, something so important in order to have respect and live in harmony with people from different backgrounds.
