About Becky
I am a graduate of Old Dominion University. I graduated in 2014 with a bachelors of science. From there, I taught in a Title 1 school in Chesapeake, Virginia with kindergartners, 1st, and 2nd graders for 4 years. After that, I worked with kids with significant behavior needs in middle and high school in alternative day schools.

As a special education teacher I am not only patient, caring, and fun, but also able to effectively differentiate and individualize instruction to a specific student’s needs. I love to teach reading skills such as decoding, comprehension, and fluency and am proficient in this skill and ways to teach it.
