About Michael
Your session begins with a focused warm-up and a review of your current material. We might spend time analyzing a difficult chord transition or refining your soloing phrasing. I provide custom backing tracks so you can practice your improvisations at home. My background includes 13 years of performing across Canada.
You will find that these tracks keep your rhythm tight. We maintain a steady pace throughout the hour. Every minute is used to improve your dexterity. You will leave with a clear plan for your next practice session.

I am here to help you grasp everything from songwriting and music theory to reading tabs. My 13 years of experience are dedicated to refining your acoustic technique and lead guitar facility. I have taught 229 students across a variety of genres.
Whether you need help with tuning and maintenance or mastering scales and modes, my teaching style is encouraging and structured. I personally enjoy watching my students bridge the gap between amateur playing and professional performance quality.
