About Fernanda
I am a Speech therapist and audiologist student at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile since 2015.
Since 2016, I have given private classes of home school reinforcement to elementary and middle school students.
Individual and group classes (in my experience, up to 15 students).
Until January 2019, I have done tutoring at the following levels:
- Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
- 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 8th grade
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd high school
(What does not exclude the other levels, of course)
I do tutorials in the following subjects:
- Mathematics

- English

All students are different, different ways of learning, different skills. This is why in the first class I like to talk about weaknesses and strengths, personality, tutoring objectives and an initial evaluation. This allows me to know the student better and focus the class in a more personalized way.
A typical class consists of a quick evaluation at the beginning of it, focusing on the contents of past classes to identify those that have been learned and those that have been forgotten. Then, we proceed with the class of the day, and it ends with a synthesis of the contents of the day (given by the student).
Depending on the age and the subject, we can use the school's book, and / or with study material of my own making.
For younger students, I request to have colored pencils and cardboards.
For bigger students, white sheets or a note pad and highlighters.
As a person, I understand the setbacks and that sometimes situations that escape our hands occur, so flexibility in terms of schedules and subjects is assured.
