About Lakshmi
Hi, I’m Lakshmi.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science at Monash University and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Psychology.
English has always been one of the subjects I’m comfortable guiding students in, especially when it comes to writing and expressing ideas clearly. I understand that many students struggle not because they don’t have ideas, but because they’re unsure how to organize and express them properly.
I’m calm, patient, and structured in the way I teach, and I focus on building both skill and confidence.

My English lessons are structured but paced according to the student’s level.
For SPM English, I focus on:
• Teaching clear essay structure step by step
• Improving grammar through guided correction
• Expanding vocabulary in a practical way
• Strengthening comprehension answering techniques
• Exam time management strategies
I don’t rush students. We practise together, review mistakes calmly, and work on improving clarity and confidence over time.
Lessons typically last 60–90 minutes depending on the student’s needs.
My goal is to help students feel more confident in expressing themselves and more prepared when they sit for their exams.
