About Tertsegha
I'm a university computing lecturer with a PhD in Engineering (University of Warwick) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I have taught database modules at university level, and I led a two-week PostgreSQL performance-tuning programme for the AUKTIE Executive Programme. For SQL and PostgreSQL I cover SELECT, JOINs, aggregation, table design, indexing and query optimisation. For machine learning, which I use in my research (14+ peer-reviewed outputs), I help with Python and scikit-learn: data preparation, avoiding data leakage, cross-validation, metrics and explaining results. Suitable for university modules, MSc dissertations (I have supervised 15+) and career changers. Online, evenings and weekends.
