Who Are My Lessons For?
I teach students of all backgrounds and age groups, specifically tailoring my approach to: Children and Beginners looking to master foundational rules, board geometry, and core tactical motifs. Intermediate & Aspiring Tournament Players aiming to build a rock-solid opening repertoire, improve positional play, and train for local competitions. Methodology & Lesson Structure-
My teaching technique is highly interactive, using digital analysis boards via screen-sharing to break down live gameplay.
Typical Lesson Length & BreakdownLessons are structured as standard 60-minute sessions divided into three focused parts:The first 15 minutes: Reviewing and analyzing your previous games to instantly identify and correct mistakes.The middle 30 minutes: Direct instruction on specific openings, tactical puzzles (Forks, Pins, Skewers), middlegame planning, or precision endgames.The final 15 minutes: Live practice matches or tactical drills to immediately implement the day's theory. Rates-Hourly Rate: RM60 / hour
