About Maeve
I have a BS in Biology and Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and hands-on experience in molecular biology, cell culture, and data analysis. Through both research projects and internships, I’ve developed strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex topics clearly and effectively. My background includes leading lab-based projects on topics like DNA extraction, PCR/qPCR, antibody purification, and cell culture models for regenerative healing. Beyond the technical skills, I’ve worked in team-based settings, presented research findings, and supported students and families as an Admissions Associate—experiences that taught me how to communicate with clarity, patience, and enthusiasm. As a tutor, I bring the same approach: making science approachable, engaging, and relevant. My goal is to not only help students master their coursework, but also to spark curiosity and show how what they’re learning connects to the real world.
