About Elena
With 3 years of teaching experience, I enjoy guiding students of all levels on their musical journey. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Composition with a Guitar Emphasis, and I also perform and compose regularly. Teaching and performing feed each other in meaningful ways. I specialize in acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar. These styles highlight the guitar’s ability to be both delicate and powerful. I work with complete beginners as well as seasoned players. For some, that means building fundamentals and technique. For others, it means refining phrasing and interpretation. My teaching emphasizes music as a lifelong skill and creative outlet. I encourage students to approach the guitar as a tool for self-expression. Lessons are supportive, structured, and inspired by each student’s goals. Together, we’ll explore the art of nuanced playing and intricate arrangement.
