About Gauri
I want to teach to make sure students grow up to be their best abilities. I know how I was in primary, math was not my strongest suit. However, as I got a tutor I improved so much, now going into senior year I know how to take on much more than I did back in primary. I know how to encounter more difficult challenges. Which is why I want all students to be able to feel more confident in coming across any mathematical equation/problem.

I will keep my lessons very interesting by asking about their hobbies and getting to know them a little in the first class, perhaps playing some math games. I think being a 15-year-old means that I can connect to the child more easily as compared to elderly people. I will also assign homework for me and the parent to know that the child is improving in what they are being taught. I will also help in any school work they have been learning or been provided that they do not understand. I will make sure the classes are always interactive so the child isn't bored and hasn't shifted their focus away from the class. The child will also learn definitions of mathematical terminology. The class timing will depend on when they're free, and will be approx 1 hour long. However, if the child does join late or if there's some misunderstanding, the next class will be longer according to their previous class. At the beginning of each class, there will be a revision time. I will be asking them to explain what they did last lesson, and maybe throw some questions at the beginning of the classes.
