About Shivani
I am a third year university student and have studied Maths up to A-Level where I received an A*. I have a lot of experience teaching primary school Maths and some experience with Year 7, 8, 9 and GCSE students.

My teaching method is dependent on what the student requires, but generally my main goal is to keep students engaged with the content especially when they find it difficult. I use games to keep the content relatable, while also making sure they are actually learning and understanding it. I find that repetition is the best way to engrain methods so I will make sure the student completes multiple example questions correctly before moving on. I always create a fun, inviting atmosphere where the student doesn't feel scared to ask questions and get things wrong.
