About Tessa
My interest in Chemistry began with curiosity about how substances transform and interact in everyday life. I pursued this passion by completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, where I developed strong understanding of chemical principles and analytical thinking. Over the past 6 years, I have helped students learn Chemistry in a structured and supportive way.
I believe Chemistry should be taught through logic, understanding, and real-world connection rather than memorization. My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and step-by-step learning. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving gradually. I also adapt my teaching methods based on each learner’s pace and academic goals.
I continue to stay updated with scientific developments and modern teaching approaches to keep my lessons effective. Teaching Chemistry is very rewarding because I see students move from confusion to clarity and from hesitation to confidence. My goal is to help every learner build strong scientific thinking, improve problem-solving skills, and develop a lasting confidence in understanding Chemistry as a meaningful subject.

Chemistry becomes easier when students understand that every reaction follows a logical and predictable pattern. In my lessons, I begin with core concepts such as atoms, molecules, bonding, and types of chemical reactions. I use very simple English so learners can understand each idea clearly without confusion. This creates a calm and supportive learning environment where students can build understanding step by step through guided explanation and practice.
As students progress, I introduce structured topics such as chemical equations, periodic trends, stoichiometry, and reaction mechanisms. I focus on helping learners understand why reactions occur instead of only solving numerical problems. Each lesson includes step-by-step problem solving, correction support, and detailed explanation. I also use real-life examples like cooking reactions, rusting metals, and environmental changes to make Chemistry more relatable and easier to remember.
My goal is to help students develop strong conceptual understanding and problem-solving ability in Chemistry. Over time, they improve calculation accuracy, logical reasoning, and confidence in handling complex questions. This growth builds both academic skill and analytical thinking. I support learners in building strong foundations, improving chemical understanding, and developing a confident and structured approach to Chemistry in studies and examinations.
