About Taylor
I’m a passionate and patient biology tutor with a Master’s degree in Biology, and I genuinely enjoy helping students feel confident in a subject that often feels overwhelming. I understand that biology can be challenging, so I focus on explaining concepts in a clear, supportive way and adjusting each lesson to the student’s needs and learning style.
I work with middle school, high school (including AP Biology), college students, and adult learners. Whether you’re trying to improve your grades, prepare for an exam, or simply understand biology better, I provide organized, encouraging, and professional tutoring to help you reach your goals.

My Tutoring Approach
I focus on making biology clear and manageable by breaking down complex topics into simple, connected ideas. My teaching is student-centered and adaptable, with an emphasis on understanding concepts rather than memorization.
Teaching Methods:
Clear explanations using visuals and real-world examples
Guided practice and active learning
Homework, lab, and exam preparation
Study strategies to build long-term understanding
Typical Lesson:
Each session starts with identifying goals, followed by targeted concept review, practice problems, and application to coursework. Lessons end with a quick summary and next steps.
What Sets Me Apart:
I hold a Master’s degree in Biology and specialize in explaining difficult concepts in a clear, supportive way. I tailor every lesson to the student’s needs and focus on building confidence as well as academic success.
Who I Tutor:
Middle school, high school (including AP Biology), college-level biology students, and adult learners.
