About Sahar

Hi, I’m Sahar. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and have years of experience helping students understand math in a clear, simple, and confidence-building way.
To me, math is like solving a puzzle, and my goal is to help my students see it that way too. I’ve worked with many learners who once struggled, and I’ve seen how the right explanation can completely change their outlook.

I believe anyone can get better at math with the right approach, one that’s patient, structured, and tailored to how each student learns best.

If you ever feel stuck or unsure, I’m here to make math make sense, one step at a time.

My lessons focus on understanding, not memorizing. I explain each topic step by step, connect ideas to what students already know, and help build both skills and confidence.

At the start of our tutoring series, I offer a 30-minute free session to get to know your goals and provide a demo. After each lesson, I share a summary, materials, and notes so students can review anytime, and I start each session with a short quiz to ensure everything is clear.

Every lesson is personalized, paced to the student’s comfort, and designed to make math simpler, clearer, and even enjoyable.

Book your first lesson today and start turning confusion into confidence.

  • 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

My love for math began with curiosity. I’ve always enjoyed understanding how things work. Studying engineering deepened that passion, but tutoring made it personal. I realized how a simple explanation and genuine support can turn frustration into confidence, and that’s what drives me to teach every day.
  • 2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

I teach mathematics, from building strong basics to exploring more advanced concepts. I enjoy connecting math to real-life situations, showing how numbers actually speak everywhere around us. The only thing I like less is when students give up too early, because I know they can do it.
  • 3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

In university, I had a professor who made complex engineering math feel simple and even exciting. He showed me that great teaching isn’t about how much you know, but how well you can make others understand and enjoy learning it.
  • 4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

Patience, empathy, and creativity. A good tutor listens, adapts, and celebrates every small win. It’s about guiding, not judging.
  • 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

When I was a student, I used to spend hours trying to understand why certain formulas worked instead of just memorizing them. It made me realize how important it is to teach the “why” behind math, not just the steps. That approach completely changed how I help my students now.
  • 6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or are still facing in your subject?

The biggest challenge is fighting the belief that math is “too hard.” Once students see that it’s just a language, one they can absolutely learn, everything changes.
  • 7) Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

Teaching itself is my passion, watching someone grow in confidence and curiosity is the most rewarding thing I know.
  • 8) What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview :-P)?

I meet students where they are, not where they “should” be. I make math feel human, encouraging, and sometimes even fun. That’s my Superprof power.
