About Makayla
I have taught both 7th and 8th grade English including root words, citations, evidence finding, context clues, and essay writing. I have also developed and taught many lesson plans for high school level English. I have student taught in math and social studies courses, taking part in leading small groups and one-on-one interventions.

I am dedicated to motivating students to do their very best. I am well versed in English, Literature, and Math. I've taught 7/8th grade English over the summer for BGSUs Academic Enrichment Camp. Work that a student is proud of, is work that I am proud of. Lessons will begin with an assessment of the student's goals and skills, and will progress from there. Students will leave lessons with work that they are happy and proud of.
