About María Jesús
I am a second year student of Commercial Engineering, but I have frozen my studies to work. I grew up speaking Chilean Spanish and American English at the same time (Chilean father, mother gringa), so I know better than anyone how to take learning from one language to another and vice versa. I am 22 years old and I have been working as Freelance Translator for 4 years and giving private classes in Santiago and Curicó (city where I currently live). The knowledge of my career is a plus for teaching Business English (English for business), which I am trained to teach.

My teaching style is dynamic and modern, I seek to simulate natural learning over repetition learning (for "memory") so say goodbye to writing 10 verb conjugations! :) We will focus first on being able to understand and communicate, and then reinforce the grammar and its rules with short but very precise guides. At all levels, from basic to professional I am in charge of recreating situations of daily and professional life in which you would need to speak English. I use physical tools such as notebooks and guides and virtual tools such as educational games (Kahoot) and cell phone applications. If you like games, music in English and / or movies, we can also use them to learn! What is my level? English advanced level CEF1 (native). Which means spontaneous and natural language management both spoken and written for social, professional, pedagogical and academic purposes. Speak and write clear texts on complex issues without much effort. I have full time availability and I have no problem traveling anywhere, I can go to any town in the Maule region. Lets learn together!
