About Lucy
I’m a student originally from Scotland but now studying in Manchester, I’ve been playing the cello since I was 4 years old and singing for as long as I can remember, but I began taking lessons at 14.
I’m patient, I cater to the needs of the individual rather than just taking a one size fits all approach that won’t help anyone, I’m happy to play or sing alongside anyone who is uncomfortable at first and I love being shown new repertoire to learn!

I begin with a consultation to hear how you play/sing and find out what you’re working on or preparing for upcoming performances. I then discuss with you what would be helpful in terms of technical exercises and and how to optimise practice.
My lessons are 30 minutes, 45 minutes or an hour long.
I coach cellists from the age of 12 up and vocalists from the age of 14 up.
