About Felix
I have always felt a great sense of satisfaction in teaching and helping other people achieve their goals. This applies, particularly to mathematics as I have always been passionate about the subject. This passion is likely rooted in the fact that my parents are both mathematicians and the subject has just always come naturally to me. I simply do find joy in watching a student grasp a difficult problem or concept that they have been struggling with.

A typical lesson would range from 40-100 minutes depending on what the client requires and whether or not they find it easy to focus for extended periods of time.
I feel it is very important, particularly with mathematics, to take an example-heavy approach to learning because that is how we wire our brains to compute these processes. I would typically approach a lesson by briefly explaining and discussing before starting with simple examples and working up to harder examples.
I completed 5 A-Levels at Hilton College in South Africa and achieved A*AABC. I was appointed Head of A-level academics at Hilton College and used this position as an opportunity to set up student tutoring schemes for which I was a mathematics tutor.
My lessons are for any students looking to either simply pass their challenging mathematics class or those looking to excel and achieve an A*.
