My name is Malefeu Potego Matsimela and I am excited to have the opportunity to teach and mentor my future students. I have always had a passion for education and believe that teaching is not only a profession, but a calling.
I am interested in teaching for several reasons. First and foremost, I love the feeling of making a positive impact on the lives of young people. The first step to get my students interested in learning English is to get them interested in me as a person, not as a teacher. Establishing rapport between the teacher and her students is essential for helping my students to understand that English is not just a tool for making a living or finding a job but an effective way for interacting with people from all walks of life within the English-speaking world.
