I am a student who achieved a 9 in GCSE English literature and an 8 in English language aswell as an A* in A level English literature. I am an avid reader and poet and I would love to help you to find a love of English and an appreciation for the power of words!

My teaching methods for English would be a guided discussion based lesson. English being so emotional and subjective, I think it's essential that a student has the opportunity to experiment and run with their own ideas and feelings. With that being said I believe giving pointers and teaching techniques, rather than just giving the answers, helps students learn for themselves to make those essential connections and improve their writing quality in a way that they can apply to their future work make their writing better while also being original.
