About Penelope
A bit about me! My name is Penelope, I’m 16 and based in Newport, South Wales. I really enjoy language subjects, particularly Welsh language which I have picked as an A level option this year. I am a very friendly, reliable, and supportive person and I enjoy helping people achieve what they want to accomplish. Some of my hobbies are walking, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Welsh is my first language so I have always been taught in the Welsh language and been around Welsh speakers. I am extremely proud to be Welsh and wouldn’t change it for the world; therefore I am passionate and dedicated to inspire others to join the amazing community of Welsh speakers! I can guarantee that with me you will not only learn more of the Welsh language but also have many laughs, get good advice about exams and gain a better understanding of the language that you may not get from someone who only learnt Welsh recently.
My typical lesson would be an hour long however this can vary depending on what the specific client needs. I would love to tutor any ages but I find I work best with children and young adults as I am a young adult myself and therefore I can personalise the experience better to what has helped me learn Welsh growing up. Although I have no qualifications to teach, I received an A* in Welsh language GCSE and an A in Welsh literature GCSE, I also helped many friends and family who learn Welsh as their second language during exam season and received great feedback on how I assisted them.
