About Elisa
Teaching is my passion. I love inspiring students and pushing them to achieve their absolute best. As a pre-service teacher I follow my 3 E’s. Empower, enrich and enthusiasm. Education isn’t just about learning and content, it’s also about empowering yourself with skills that will carry you through life. Nothing can defeat education. Education enriches life as you grow and become engaged in society. Last, but definitely not least, enthusiasm to enjoy learning and creativity, pushing your mind to its max. Creating personal connections is what it is to be human. I hope that I can help you create personal connections to English and help you fall in love with a subject in a way you possibly haven’t thought of before!

I have been tutoring students for just over 2 years. Through my passion for teaching I have shared it with my students. I have taught students of high achievement, while also having experience with students with wide ranges of needs, including but not limited to: ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia and Slow Processing Disorder. Lessons typically last an hour and within that hour I like to get into the nitty gritty. Setting goals to achieve by the end of the session that stem from your main goals. Whether it be spelling, writing, analyzing or composing. Whatever your goal is I’m here to help and guide you!
