About Sam

Maths is a passion of mine and something I strive to learn more about whenever possible. I enjoy tackling complex challenges, however I don't like being told "this equation just does work" finding a proof or my own explanation to why an equation works or how a conclusion was made is all part of the fun in the mathematical world.

About the lesson

We will work through targeted question practice on weak areas, alongside expanding logical reasoning and critical thinking skills. Reinforcing a range of mathematical skills and developing a deeper understanding, so no matter what grade you aspire to get you will have the knowledge and ability to achieve it.

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Sam.

Perfect! My son has had his first lesson with Sam. He is a lovely young gentleman who is professional, patient, kind and very positive. My son particularly commented on his humour, and found him to be funny, which put him at immediate ease. Sam is very well spoken, well presented and organised with a flexible approach.

Sam is a very intelligent, very supportive young man. He really helped my grandson with his maths, and for that, I’m very grateful. He developed a rapport quickly and was kind, caring, and supportive throughout. I would recommend Sam to anyone who is looking for a maths tutor to help them through their GCSEs.

I was tutored by Sam and his support made a huge difference to my studies. When I first started, I was working at a D grade, but with Sam’s help, guidance and encouragement, I was able to improve all the way to an A. He is confident, knowledgeable and easy to talk to, which makes every session feel relaxed and comfortable. He explains things clearly without making you feel pressured, and I always felt comfortable asking questions or admitting when I didn’t understand something. I would highly recommend Sam to any student looking for a tutor who genuinely cares about helping them improve and succeed.
