This will be my first time as a tutor, but I was an au pair for two girls during their grades 4 and 5 and 6 and 7 years separately. I also gained a level 3 TEFL certificate through i-to-i.

I am currently a student at Unisa studying BA general majoring in Ancient History and Psychology. Through my au pair experience and course material of my TEFL course, it is clear that each student has a different way of learning that matches with them to help them reach their best potential when it comes to academics. My approach is thus to figure out what type of learner (auditory, visual, kinesthetic, etc.) each student is and to use this to build the lesson on.
