About Rhian
I have been teaching for 8 years after a career change from the private sector.
I am a proud Welsh speaker and love introducing the language at all levels. I am always impressed by people in and outside of Wales wanting to learn the language and also embrace the culture of Wales.
My specialist area, as well as adult learning for Welsh in second language, is SEN support for young adults English, Welsh and Maths in community settings when children aren't able to access mainstream school.

The lesson is interactive, will be supported with opportunities to use the topic thought through engaging activities within the lesson and also recording support to use at home.
The programme of Learning I have developed is 'shwmae, Shwmae', there is an option of a six-week course that focuses on basic greetings, the foundations of the pronunciation of the Welsh language.
The extended programme looks at more in-depth learning to move from basic greetings to incorporating hobbies, interests, work, family, talking at length about your day. This can be personalised to your requirements.
Lots of fun, games and opportunities to practise in a safe environment.
