About Ashley

I have 10 years of teaching experience and hold a Master of Arts in French Language. Throughout my teaching journey, I have guided learners from diverse academic and professional backgrounds who wanted to improve French for education, work, and personal growth. I enjoy making every lesson engaging by combining language learning with cultural exploration.

One professional joined my classes after accepting a position with a multinational organization where French communication was beneficial. Together we focused on workplace conversations, presentations, pronunciation, and professional writing through realistic business scenarios. Within a short period, the learner became comfortable communicating with international colleagues and clients.

I believe language develops most effectively when learners feel encouraged to communicate without fearing mistakes. My classroom promotes confidence, curiosity, and consistent participation while providing supportive guidance that helps every student reach individual goals.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading Francophone literature, exploring French cinema, and attending cultural workshops that deepen my appreciation of the language. These experiences help me introduce authentic cultural perspectives and engaging communication activities into every lesson. I would be delighted to help you develop strong French communication skills.

About the lesson

I begin by evaluating each learner's current proficiency, learning goals, and previous language experience before creating personalized lesson plans that encourage steady improvement. This approach ensures students develop confidence while progressing through practical communication activities at a comfortable pace. Every lesson combines structured learning with engaging real-world applications.

Grammar is taught through meaningful conversations that demonstrate how French is naturally used in everyday life. Vocabulary develops through practical themes including education, business, travel, culture, current events, and daily routines so learners immediately apply what they study. Pronunciation practice focuses on rhythm, intonation, and accurate French sounds through guided listening and speaking exercises.

Students participate in interactive discussions, role-playing activities, presentations, and collaborative tasks that strengthen conversational fluency. Reading materials include authentic news articles, literary passages, and cultural resources that expand vocabulary while improving comprehension. Writing activities gradually develop sentence structure, grammar accuracy, formal communication, and creative expression through regular personalized feedback.

Students preparing for DELF, DALF, school examinations, university admissions, international careers, relocation, or travel receive customized preparation with structured revision plans and continuous performance assessments. I regularly review progress, refine teaching strategies, and encourage independent learning habits that strengthen long-term language development. Every lesson concludes with practical revision activities designed to reinforce recently learned concepts.
