About Allison
I am a "jack of all trades" and love to do both creative and intellectual things. I majored in Product Design engineering at Stanford and am currently finishing my Masters in Sustainability Science and Practice. I've been doing private tutoring for the past four years and primarily teach math, but have done English and writing tutoring as well.

My teaching method is to watch how a student approaches a problem, and begin to help only when they become truly stuck on something. Oftentimes students know how to do pieces of a problem but just don't know how to get there, so I like to guide them there without giving everything away at once.
