About Arian
I've been involved with water since I was fourteen, when I passed my WOPR lifeguard course. Over the years, I've seen two types of people at the beach and pool: those who feel at home in the water, and those who enter it with their bodies tense and thinking, "Just hope nothing happens." It's the latter group that taught me the most. In group classes, this second type of student usually gets lost—the instructor has fifteen people, and there's not enough time to notice that someone is still afraid inside, even though they're already physically swimming. That's why I switched to individual instruction: I can work with what's going on in the student's head, not just with the movements of their hands. I'm also a dietitian and psycho-dietitian, which helps me look at the student holistically—the body, but also what's blocking it. The greatest satisfaction comes when someone loses their fear and feels it themselves.

I'll teach you to swim safely and stress-free—whether you're starting from scratch or want to improve your technique. I'm a swimming instructor and a lifeguard with the Volunteer Water Rescue Service (WOPR). I completed my lifeguard training at the age of 14 and have been teaching swimming for over 15 years. I managed a seaside resort in Gdańsk as a senior WOPR lifeguard and trained future lifeguards through courses. I conduct classes at the swimming pool in Stogi in Gdańsk. I teach individually—children, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities. I familiarize children with the water and teach them from the ground up, so that after a series of lessons, they can swim independently. I help adults overcome their fear of deep water and improve their technique. I offer exercise without putting stress on joints for seniors. For people with disabilities, I offer rehabilitation classes tailored to their abilities. I'm also a dietitian, psycho-dietitian, and a summer camp counselor—which gives me a broader perspective on learning to swim than just technique: mental well-being and a positive attitude toward one's own body are also important. Classes are always one-on-one, at a pace tailored to your needs. Safe, effective, and pressure-free.
