About Donalisa
I’ve always loved helping and motivating others to learn. After graduating from university, I spent a few years in Japan teaching English to students from 4 to 84 years old!! My experiences include lesson planning, study material production, prop making, and leading group projects and activities (including educational games)! I’ve even presented demo lessons to educate other English teachers at seminars. Working everywhere from classrooms and school events to cafés and volunteer gatherings, learning can happen anywhere.

Relatability is the most important aspect of engaging anyone to participate in the learning process, and more importantly to retain the information they are given long term. I strongly believe in integrating the different interests of students into lesson planning. I also find that finding similarities with them helps us bond and create a healthy and positive learning environment.
