About Mary
I teach children and adults ages 3 and up, and have 30 years of experience. In addition to private lessons, I teach many music classes online and in person, from pre-school through college and adults. You or your child can take lessons in: piano/keyboard, guitar, voice, violin, viola, cello, bass, ukulele, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, flute, recorder, harmonica, trumpet, drums, and any combination of these. Lessons are tailored to you! I have taught hundreds of students and still love it! I have years of professional playing and recording experience (NYC and other major cities in the US), and have Master's and Bachelor's degrees in music education and piano performance. I look forward to talking with you about your musical aspirations!

Depending on what you or your child want to learn, I can incorporate these into your lessons: various styles of music, practicing methods, reading music, playing by ear, memory building, music theory, music appreciation, Christian worship music, music history, improvisation, composition, becoming a multi-instrumentalist, performing and recording preparation, etc. I have a lot of patience and will take you step by step to where you want to go!
