About Robert
I am a native American English speaker, from New York State. I graduated from Syracuse University, earning a bachelor of science degree from the school of management. I then worked at a Fortune 500 company for many years, until deciding to move to Mexico with my wife.
I began teaching English by first helping migrants from all over the world in my city. Since 2016, I have taught English here in Guadalajara. I have traveled to many local companies teaching the highest levels of English to top leadership teams.
My happiness is to see young, ambitious people achieving their dreams.

My approach is efficient and effective. After I learn my students' goals, I provide personalized service to help them achieve what they desire.
Mostly I work with advanced students in two distinct categories.
- Students that wish to study abroad and aim at doing well on the TOEFL.
- Business professionals wanting superior English skills for new career opportunities.
For TOEFL students, my approach is usually an eight-week program designed to give them the best chance possible for getting high marks in all four segments of the exam. We learn tools and techniques helping to achieve high scores in reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
For professionals that are trying to accelerate their career path, I provide consulting services focused on business communication skills. We work together on the parts you want to improve. Typically, I cover interviewing skills, business presentations, delivering public speeches and critical email techniques.
