About Syd
Hi! I’m Syd, a friendly, patient, and creative tutor who loves working with kids and teens. I have shared a passion for music and musicals from a young age and was a proud member of George Walton Comprehensive High School’s highly respected choir, which performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall. I particularly love musicals such as Wicked, Dear Evan Hansen, and Little Shop of Horrors, and I bring that excitement and enthusiasm into every lesson. My goal is to help students build confidence, develop their singing and acting skills, and discover the joy of musical theater.

My lessons are fun, interactive, and tailored to each student’s interests and skill level. I focus on singing, acting, and performance, helping kids and teens build confidence, improve their skills, and express themselves through music and musical theater. I use engaging activities, songs, and performance exercises to make learning enjoyable. Every lesson is designed to be supportive, creative, and confidence-boosting, so students feel proud of their progress and excited to perform. I also bring my personal experience and passion for music into each lesson. Having been a member of George Walton Comprehensive High School’s highly respected choir, which performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, I share practical tips and real-world insights that make learning musical theater exciting and meaningful. My goal is to inspire a love for music and performance while helping students develop their own unique voice and style.
