I am a native English speaker from Canada. I have been teaching in the Middle East for 15 years. I work with early years in a British international school. I have experience working one-on-one with young learners to build on their individual strengths and meet personalized targets.

My lessons focus on teaching the tools needed to become fluent readers. We start with phonics skills, blending and segmenting sounds to read simple words. Lessons will include high-frequency words and guided reading sessions. Once the student gains momentum with reading, we will begin working on early writing skills. Lessons are designed for children ages 4-7.
