About Denise

I am a teacher in a local public school system with 25 plus years teaching/tutoring experience. I have taught over one hundred students from Kindergarten through college and post college. My students do well with grades and standardized testing. I am a certified teacher K-8 all subjects and K-12 Reading. I also have experience as an adjunct college instructor.. I have taught in public and private schools.

About the lesson

I start my first tutoring session by giving a learning survey to see what type of learner the student is. My lessons are a mix of games, instruction, written and oral work. I am patient and knowledgeable, but at the same time expect my students to be the best they can be.
