About Jess
I'm 18 years old, and I'm an aspiring author studying at the University of Sunderland. I love talking to and working alongside others, and I'm extremely patient. I know how it feels to struggle in certain areas of subjects, and I'm happy to work at whatever pace you're most comfortable with. There is no pressure at all in my sessions and I want you to be able to enjoy your time with me while simultaneously learning.

My tutoring sessions are helpful but enjoyable. I don't aim to bombard you with too much information from a powerpoint. I'd like us to be able to speak, get to know one another and work together.
I don't have a lot of actual experience as a tutor, but I have experience within the subject I aim to teach and have always loved helping others understand it too. I have some experience teaching and helping young children in year 4 and below to read and write, as well as be creative in their writing. I gained this experience while working as a teaching assistant at a first school.
As for my qualifications, I received an A and A* at GCSE for English Language and English Literature. For A level, I received 3 A's in my subjects, which were English Language, English Literature and Pyschology.
I'm able to tutor anything within the specification of English Language/Literature (AQA exam board) A-Level or GCSE, or if you have any other suggestions/topics you need help with just message me to ask :)
