About Sandra

My name is Sandra Claassen, I live in the Free State and am currently teaching as a remedial teacher. I have around 20 years teaching experience and am in the process to complete my M.ed. degree in support teaching. I love to help learners to build confidence in reaching small successes. One step at a time.

About the lesson

Going back to basics, namely phonetic awareness, I help learners to overcome reading barriers from a young age. After phonetics are mastered, word building, together with sightwords training, are the next steps to ultimately reach successful sentence and paragraph building.
