About Nicole
I have been interested in learning about other cultures since I was very young. Due to that, I studied abroad in Scotland and South Korea in college. My time abroad cemented my passion in teaching English as a second language, thanks to my internship tutoring Korean ESL students.
I am truly passionate about helping students reach their potential and succeed.

My methodology is heavily based in the needs of the individual student. However, I tend to lean towards being a facilitator, guiding a student to the correct answer of their own volition and providing them with strategies to learn on their own.
I have a true passion for languages (including English); I am able to read and understand Spanish, have some exposure to Mandarin Chinese, and have a low intermediate understanding of Korean.
I can adapt lessons for any proficiency and/or age with sufficient preparation. My experience is mostly with elementary to middle school students, but I have taught a few lessons to adults and college aged students.
