Communication, fun, and students are at the center of my teaching methodology. I use the Task-Based Learning approach (TBL) to help students learn by themselves.
In my class, you will read and write, listen and speak, thus preparing you for all sorts of real-life situations –both academic and general.
A typical lesson looks like this:
1. We start with a quick warm-up (video, audio, brainstorm...)
2. I introduce the topic and present the task
3. you do the fun task
4. you prepare a short oral or written report to tell me what happened during your task experience
5. Practice. I select language areas based on your needs and what emerged from the task and report phases.
