About Jordan

If literature remains the core reflection of the human experience, reading and writing is the most direct and meaningful way to access and/or create this; I am here to facilitate and guide that journey, as well as continue learning myself. I have been in education for ten years and my passion, professionalism, techniques and curiosity have only continued to grow. Through the mere power of words, we can accomplish astounding and powerful things.

About the lesson

-I am friendly, engaging, hands on, fair and knowledgeable in content and the science of teaching.
-I can guarantee results; although the student must desire results as well.
-I have worked internationally, in urban and small town settings, remotely and in person.
-I can work with students as young as middle school, up to and including college age. The majority of experience is with high school students (14-18 years)
-A typical lesson plan can or will include(s) bellwork or a warm up, objectives, discussion, hands-on activities, reading, writing and a follow-up task.
