About Alene
I am a personal support worker by trade with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. Over the course of my degree I have taken many language and linguistics classes. I have one year of experience tutoring Spanish and I was a teaching assistant in university. I am a certified ESL teacher and a native English speaker.

I cater my teaching and class structure to the needs and goals of my student. Because I care about my students' success, I expect that they put in an effort to learn. I am firm so that the student can be challenged, but my classes are casual, emphasizing oral expression and comprehension through natural conversation.

Cancellation Policy: If given at least 48 hours notice for a cancellation, the student will not be required to pay. Between 24-48 hours notice, the student will pay half of the lesson cost ($10). If notice is received under 24 hours before the scheduled lesson, the student will pay full price ($20).
