About Cristina
I am a native bilingual English and Italian speaker and I come from a family background of English Language teachers.
I was exposed to teaching English from a very young age and began my tutoring experience as a child when my mother hosted students and families!
I studied languages at University (holding both a B.A. and M.A.) which gave me the amazing opportunity to experience teaching English as a foreign language for the British Council.
I have several years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language and also as a second language to foreign people living in the UK.
This year I completed a CELTA certification with Cambridge University and therefore all of my teaching methods are in line with this and I am able to provide a range of lesson types tailored to the individual needs. I teach general English to both children and adults as well as English for Business or Specific Purposes and deal with English Language exam preparation such as IELTS or any other level examinations.
I am experienced in classroom teaching, 1:2:1 tutoring both online and in person and I also provide home stay tutoring to students who come from abroad and wish to live and learn in my home.
I am a loving and creative individual who is able to easily form bonds and lasting relationships with people.
