My name is Claire, I'm 21 years old and I study German and Spanish with translation and interpreting at Newcastle University. I come from Scotland, so I understand what needs to be learned for the Scottish language exams. I am also very chatty so I will be great for learning conversational skills in German.

I think it is important to feel confident when speaking a foreign language and I also believe that to really learn a language you must fully immerse yourself in it. In my tutoring lessons I will mainly be speaking German in order to improve the pupil's listening and comprehension skills and to also boost their vocabulary.
