About Tom
I am a professional tenor, a member of the Opera North Chorus and graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. Alongside performing, I have a strong interest in teaching and enjoy helping others develop their voice in a relaxed and supportive environment.
I work with a wide range of singers, from complete beginners to more experienced voices, including those who sing in choirs or choral societies. I particularly enjoy helping people build confidence and feel more comfortable in their own voice, whether for personal enjoyment or performance.
Outside of music, I enjoy golf and birdwatching!

Lessons are friendly, relaxed and tailored to each individual. Whether you’re a complete beginner, someone who already sings, or more advanced, the focus is on building a healthy vocal technique in a supportive and pressure-free environment. I also work with those who sing in choirs or choral societies, helping prepare for upcoming performances.
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes and will include useful warm-ups, vocal exercises, and applying technique to songs you enjoy. The aim is to help you develop confidence, control and a better understanding of your voice.
I trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and perform professionally as a tenor with the Opera North Chorus. Alongside performing, I enjoy helping singers of all levels improve and feel more confident in their voice.
